Two form friendship in health journey

Many people often wonder if a personal trainer is right for them. Georgia Porter no longer has that feeling. Porter participated in a 10-week training program one-on-one with Marshalltown Y personal trainer Kasey Dierks and it had a huge impact on her.

Porter, a former collegiate softball player, was looking for something to reignite her health and found it in her trainer.

“Kasey was amazing,” Porter said. “She mixed up the exercises well and was so inspiring and motivational. I was able to achieve my goals and double my strength.”

Porter loved the routine the pair had and the accountability of the program. Not only did she see results during the 10 weeks of training, Georgia is also on track for continuous growth on her health journey for the future, thanks to the direction of Kasey.

“She set me up for future success and ensured my movements were safe and productive,” Porter said.

Dierks was inspired by Porter as well throughout the program.

“It was super fun to see her motivation to get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle,” Dierks said.
