Hobby Craft Club makes quilts for country school

Members of the Hobby Craft Club at the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA made skirts to be used for students who take part in the 1913 school reenactments at the Taylor No. 4 Country School in Marshalltown. Accepting the skirts was Julie Lang, center, who runs the reenactments with every fourth grade student in Marshall County throughout the year, as part of the Historical Society of Marshall County. Two members of the Hobby Craft Club shared their memories of attending a one-room school.
